About Lenore

Lenore joined Wilson Nesbitt in 1991 and has been responsible for the development and success of Wilson Nesbitt’s leading family law department.    Lenore is head of the family team at Wilson Nesbitt and is a member of the Chartered Management Institute.  The family team comprises of practitioners experienced in prenuptial planning, in dispute resolution including financial settlements both business related and private, separation, divorce, domestic violence & name change, in children’s issues such as protection, custody, access & adoption as well as in Inheritance Tax (‘IHT’) planning and returns, wills, trusts, estate administration, gifting, office of care and protection, controllerships and enduring powers of attorney matters.  Lenore and her team also also advise on all aspects of pension law  to include employer reorganisations, public or private sector transfers and outsourcing, protection of accrued pension rights, career breaks, the scope of transitional arrangements etc..

Lenore also deals with matters involving Information and privacy law and advises clients on compliance with Data Protection to include subject access requests, social media use, security breaches, etc.  Lenore plays an integral part in the firm's ongoing responsibility to ensure compliance with the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. 

Lenore is a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer, is a member of the Association of Northern Ireland Collaborative Family Lawyers and a member of Condico a not for profit organisation run by solicitors for all children's law solicitors throughout Northern Ireland.  Lenore is also a member of STEP the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

 

More about Lenore

In her free time Lenore is a keen member of Bangor Netball Club and a director on the board of Netball Northern Ireland heading the Participation Committee.  Lenore also enjoys spending time with her teenage daughters.
