Teacher loses welly boot throw compensation claim

In follow up to our news story on 19th July, we can confirm that teacher Glennroy Blair-Ford has lost his accident compensation claim for £5m damages.

Click here to read the initial article with the details of the accident, in which Mr Blair-Ford broke his neck while throwing a wellington boot during a school field-trip. The judge hearing his case described what happened to Mr Blair-Ford as a "freak accident" before dismissing his claim against CRS Adventures, where the accident took place.
