Northern Ireland average property price rises to £136,211

By Lauren Burns

There was a 2.1 per cent annual increase in property prices in Northern Ireland in the second quarter of this year, with the average house price rising to £136,211.

The 2.1 per cent increase in Northern Ireland property prices was among the lowest regional changes across the UK, but considerably better than the fortunes of the London property market, where prices were down by 1.9 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2017. The figures from Nationwide Building Society also suggest that the UK average house price reached a record high of £215,444 in June.
